Description
Dr. Onunkwo received her medical degree at the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. She completed her master's degree in science and public health and her occupational medicine residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Onunkwo is board-certified in Occupational Medicine and is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American Association for Physician Leadership, Central States Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American Medical Association. She is also a Registered Civil Surgeon capable of performing immigrations exams. (USCIS) Regarding her scope of practice, Dr. Onunkwo is interested in work-related injury care management and prevention. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling. Dr. Onunkwo joined COM in 2017 and is Medical Director for our 6 clinics.
